…And not only normal liquid/tablet chlorine systems but also salt water chlorinated, plus bromide, silver / copper and ozone, along with natural pools and finally the hardest of all, mineral pools in thermal resorts. 

Pools surfaces have covered every variety from plaster, Marblesheen, Pebblecrete, Vinyl, Fibreglass and pained including Acrylic, Chlorinated Rubber, Epoxy and Fluoropolymer.

Our History …

 I just checked our current data base back to only 2005 and we have 20,351 pools there. So, you can say we know something about pools and pool water chemistry.

One fact we have learned the hard way; “No 2 pools are the same” even if on the same property (resort).  Every pool has its own distinct history, from design through to creation and use profiles, not to mention dosing to keeping them clean and healthy.

No Bias – Just Facts …

And we have never sold pool water chemicals or treatment systems, but we have seen them all and been asked as independent folks to seek the real answer. Answers to issues even well-meaning pool shops cannot or will not solve. As a well-meaning Pool Shop Owner recently said: 

“… we have this wonderful, sophisticated computer system that diagnoses your pool water and then tells us exactly what we need to sell to you”.

Great isn’t!

Here’s the Bias …
So, you are relying on a piece of electronic equipment which is seldom calibrated for your pool specifically, (it makes a BIG difference if not) and can thus “sell” you more expensive chemicals then you need or want.

It’s like going to the drug store with an ailment, and after a short few questions being sold a solution that sounds like the answer and then handing over your money. Finally, the parting comment by the pharmacist; “Do come back in a week if it’s not better, as we have lots of other drugs we can try”. 

Just like rinse and repeat. No good at all.

The Answer You Need ….

You will want to have One Correct answer and then know that it will solve the issue and not require repeated and expensive treatments.

This is the exact opposite of the pool shop business success model. Why do you think pool shops are being corporatised. It’s a great year-round cash cow? One you are actively supporting, unwittingly.
